    Scepter Park -- Coronet
The park spans a mile across and several miles deep.
Pathways weave in and out of tree bushes, and well-groomed
grass along the edge of one of the largest lakes on Corellia.
Benches and Ramada's are strategically placed to take
advantage of the most scenic areas. Paddleboats can be seen
dotting the surface of the lake, and off in the distance is
a small stall, which rents them. A plethora of wild bird-life
can be found in the park for the avid birdwatchers of Corellia.

Walking through the park, trying to relax after a hard day of
flying, Tyco stops and examines the flowers. Hearing the
chirping of the birds, Tyco gives a little smile. Walking to
a park bench, Tyco sits down and just enjoys the moment.

Alynne tries her hand at fishing with a makeshift rod. She's
currently ankle deep into the water with a string hanging off
a metal rod. She flips the weighted end off into the water
some distance from her, then slowly pulls it in hand over
hand, while juggling the rod at the same time.

Tyco Noticing the woman fishing, Tyco directs his attention
towards the water. Smiling Tyco realizes that he never learned
how to fish. It just wasn't his forte he enjoyed flying a bunch
more than being in the outdoors. But now he enjoys both just
    as much.

Alynne draws up an empty line; she sighs and takes another deep
breath. Tossing the line out again, she continues her attempt at
catching something so that she'd have something to fill her
belly tonight. Wiping her brow with the back of her hand, she
then draws the string back slowly once more. A yelp of surprise
issues from between her lips as she meets resistance on the line.
She hurries and pulls the rest of the line in and on the end of
it dangles a small 4-inch fish. Alynne beams with excitement,
though the fish alone probably won't be quite enough, but in her
mind, its a start. She heads back out of the lake and suddenly
notices the man on the bench for the first time. Grinning she
holds up her meager take, and moves off to gut it.

Tyco gives off a little snort of laughter. That's why he doesn't
like the outdoors. It doesn't give the feel that the power of a
fighter gives. Call him whatever Tyco is a born pilot.

Alynne whips out a vibroknife and goes to work gutting the fish,
she glances over at the man and grins, "Gotta do something to
fill in between jobs. Fishing is free still from what I heard.
A little Horsani sauce and a few spices, and this thing" holding
up the fish, "will melt in anyone's mouth."

Laughing, Tyco stands and approaches the woman. Not knowing what
to do he sticks out his hand, "The names Tyco Belisius." Seeing
that she doesn't have any free hands, Tyco just stands there
looking really stupid. Dropping his hand down to the side Tyco
looks at the woman and begins to blush.

Alynne glances at the hand and then at the fish remnants on her
hands and grins as he introduces himself. She nods down at her
hands then back up to the man and replies, "Nice to meet you Tyco,
my name is Alynne. Kinda got my hands full, hope you don't mind.
Its kinda hard to get a free meal around here you know" she winks.

Tyco says, "Yeah, I guess I never had that problem. I never had
to wonder were my next meal would come from. It was a wakeup call
when I finally went out into the real world."

Alynne laughs lightly and nods sympathetically, "I know how you
feel. I was pretty well taken care of before I decided to strike
out on my own, and well" she gestures, "here I am...gotta do
what you gotta do to survive. The jobs have been few and far
    between for me these days."

Tyco nods in agreement, "Yeah I would probably have a hard time
finding work if it wasn't for the current state of affairs in
the Republic. What do you do for a living? Outdoor type?

Alynne glances down at her makeshift fishing pole and laughs, "Not
by choice no..." she skewers the small fish onto a stick and sets
it aside, "no, I'm a mechanic by trade, and can't seem to find
steady work as of yet. I do odd jobs here and there, but no one
seems willing to hire me on regularly."

A surprised look springs on his face. "Whoa, a mechanic? I never
would have been able to guess. Don't take that as a bad thing I
just never thought I would be able to actually talk to someone
who has to fix what I screw up. You know if I ever hear of
something I would be glad to throw something your way. I am
probably going to retire from the Republic soon, maybe I would
go independent and go out on my own.

Alynne laughs at the mans comments and glances back at her
equipment, taking the makeshift rod apart and preparing to pack
it up, "Fix what you screw up? Just what do you do that screws
things up so much that you don't seem to talk to the mechanics
    much to fix it?'

Getting a call on his comlink, Tyco says, "Yes sir on my way.
There seems to be a problem I have to go. Where do you hang out?
Maybe I can buy you dinner so you don't have to do this all the
time." Tyco smiles and points to the rod.

Alynne standing up once again, a pack hanging from one hand and
a skewered fish in the other, "I usually hang out at the Cantina
down the road. That's where most of my friends go. Maybe I'll
    see you there."

Korbin strolls through park slowly and very observant of the
peacefulness around him. Stopping aside the lake, he sits down on
the slightly damp earth and crosses his legs. He continues just
    staring blankly ahead of him.

Alynne has gotten a nice little fire going in front of her; she
appears to be holding a stick over the fire and upon the stick and
small 4-inch long fish. Humming to herself she stares at her would
be dinner for a time, and on occasion she glances up and around.
Spotting a man walking towards her, and noting he's not really
paying much attention to where he's going, she calls to him,
"Watch it there...don't want ya hot foot'n it there."

Korbin turns around and looks down upon Alynne and her fish and
grins to himself, "Boy look pretty tasty. Can't remember the last
time I had a roasted, mold infested, algae sea creature," and
upon second glance of the fish he turns away in disgust.

Alynne laughs lightly as she glances down at the fish, she shrugs
and comments, "Hey, it fills the empty spot inside." Looking back
up at the fellow she asks, "Don't much care for fish eh?"

Korbin shakes his head but looks away instead of at Alynne eating,
"Nah, anything that comes from the water is revolting if you ask
me. Then again, being from Tatooine I wouldn't have grown up on
it either. Just seems very dirty and.....well....disgusting."

Alynne purposefully takes a juicy bite of the fish. Chewing it and
holding the rest over the fire she says around the food, "Its
really not that bad once you get used to it" then swallows,
"besides, what's better than free food?" she asks grinning. Her
pants are rolled up to almost below her knees and her feet
appear to be bare, a sure hint that perhaps she's caught the
    morsel herself.

Korbin sighs to himself and glances down at a chronometer on his
wrist, "Well I guess I've missed my company. Had to travel from
Tatooine to get here, you'd think they wouldn't care if I was
three hours late, eh? That's Corellian politicians for you. I'm
just going to have to track them down I suppose." He fidgets in
his pockets before pulling out a datapad and reviewing something
    written on there.

Alynne glances back to her fish, making sure that it doesn't
overcook, then looks back to the man standing nearby, "Politics
eh? No wonder you don't like fish" she says as if that explained
everything. "There's a local Cantina down the street, maybe your
friends are hanging out there" then kinda glances away and
comments, "unless of course politicians don't frequent places
    like that."

Korbin smirks to himself while continuing his review of the
datapad's contents, "Oh they're far from friends but rather
necessary inconveniences of my life. How they ever got elected
is beyond me when their reports are drafted as wretched as
these are. They probably meant a different park for all I can
tell." With one final beep he turns off the datapad and
replaces back in his pockets. "At least it wasn't a complete
loss, however. It is very nice to meet you. If I may be so
    bold, you don't live....here....do you?"

Alynne gestures around the park area and asks, "You mean in the
park?" she gives a shrug "sometimes when the jobs get to scarce,
I try and make myself comfortable here. Its not such a bad place
really, clean air" holding up her fish, "good food, all the
comforts of home wouldn't you say?" She laughs lightly at her
own attempt and humor and sighs, "I got a place, but at times I
can't afford the rent. Like I said, jobs are a bit scarce around
here. I figured if anyone needed a mechanic, someone on Corellia
    would."

Korbin smiles upon Alynne and pauses a moment for speaking as
though debating something in his mind, "Well, ah no, well
maybe....Well madam if you ever feel desperate I suppose you
could be of service to my business associates on Tatooine.
My....employer...does need ships to be repaired now and then
and an occasion....modification....to support the type of
business he needs them for. Anyway it's probably not the place
for someone like you but if you ever really feel desperate I
suppose I could put in a good word."

Alynne glances down her shoulders visibly slouches; "I came to
Corellia to get away from the dusty sand dunes of Tatooine. My
father wanted me to stay behind to help him run his shop, but
I was anxious to get out and explore the universe around me. I
figured I'd find odd jobs here and there as a mechanic to
support me. I won't lie, it's been rough, but I'm managing."
She smiles up at him, "But thanks for the offer though. I
appreciate it. Mind me asking what your name is? I'll be sure
to pass it along to my father so he puts in his vote for you
    next election."

Korbin laughs to himself, "Oh well the name is Korbin Rouges
but don't worry too much about the elections. I never seem to
lose since most of the people that run against me have
unfortunate accidents. Not my doing, I assure you, but let's
just say I'm elected because of my care for my citizens.
Especially a few important ones." He throws you a wink but does
    not continue on the matter.

Alynne catches the wink and the unsaid words and nods, "I hear ya.
I guess that's the way things happen in the political world." She
wipes off a hand onto her pants and offers it, "Alynne, Alynne
Halbreth, local mechanic and jack of all trades, pleased to meet
    you Mr. Rouges."

Korbin looks apathetically down at the offered hand but slowly
places his own in it, "Sorry but you know I hate fish." and
retrieving his hand he wipes it on his pants. "Anyway I suppose
I should head back to Tatooine since I'm on a tight schedule. My
citizens need a report soon so I'll just put some words I would
suppose these contacts of mine would say and all's okay. I'm sure
I'll see you again Miss Hallbat." and slows begins to turn to
    leave.

Alynne grins and nods to the man as he shakes her hand, "So you
told me." She chuckles and listens to the man make his excuses,
then as he walks away she calls after him, "That's Halbreth!!!"
then goes back to feasting on her little fish.

Korbin smirks to himself but continues on his way out.
