Marcus casually glances at his chrono as he walks in off the street. Not even 11am and he is in a cantina, all these delays are turning him into an alcoholic. Ahh well, there is worst things a person can be. He looks at the no blasters sign and shrugs a little as he walks past it on his was to the bar. He pulls up a stoll and waves over one of the bartenders, "Give me a whiskey, thanks, and leave the bottle." While he waits for his order he glances around the bar, seeing how many others are here at this time of the morning.
Christian glances up at the door, At the new arrival, A nod as a polite gesture, Looking the man up and down at his clothing and vest notices his blaster and thinks nothing of it. "I'll Take a water bartender" Looking at the man "Isnt it a little early to start drinking already? Or are you still drinking from last night" With a chuckle.
Marcus returns the polite nod and chuckles a little at your words, "Yeah, it is a bit early. But in my line of work time has little meaning. Plus a few drinks don't really effect me, and i have little else to do right now."
Christian intrigued by the mans casual/proffesional attire responds "Whats your line of work? If you dont mind me asking." Looking at his own tattered clothing he lights a ciggerette and offers the man one. "Care for one, Goes good with a morning whiskey"
Marcus takes the offered smoke, "Thanks, i left mine back on the ship." He pours the whiskey in the glass as it arrives and skulls it down before filling it back up. He pulls a lighter out of his vest and lights the smoke, "I work on a merchant ship. Currently waiting for one of the shipping companies to get their act together and load up the rest of the cargo. Sometimes i think they get great pleasure about holding us merchants up."
Christian looking for the right words say's "Im also in the import/export industry, I know what you mean" Wondering what the cargo could be and what kind of ship he could be piloting. "If you need a hand anytime i may be able to join you for a shipment" Thinking to himself if that would interfear with the smugglers guild.
Marcus takes a sip of his whiskey, "I'll keep that in mind, we could be under new management soon, so we might need to hire out for a few runs until we get back on our feet."
Christian says "That sounds good i can usually be found here" Putting his ciggerette out "What new management would the company be for?."
"Just some new inner management." Marcus says casually, "The captain maybe leaving us shortly, and no doubt a few of the crew will leave as well. So one of us will be placed in charge, and we might be short handed for a bit."
"Thats cool, Just find me if you need a pilot or a copilot" Thinking to himself ofcourse the money would have to be good too... "Whats the reason of the captain and crew taking off?"
Marcus shrugs a little before finishing off the second glass, "He is getting on in years, he has made a few comments about settling down soonish. As for the crew, some of them are only loyal to him, so they could leave if he does. Y'know the type, hate change and prefer to bail than to see if the change is better or not."
Lorrix enters from Meteor Way -- Coronet Corellia.
Christian "Yea i guess, Most of the crews i know dont care much of a person other then themselves. So as long as they get paid, They could care less from who." Knowing that if this crew was part of the merchants guild they would just be reassighned, He still try's to figure out who he's working for.
Marcus is seated at the bar with a glass and a bottle of whiskey in front of him. Christian is seated near by with a glass a water. They are idly chatting to each other. Marcus nods lightly to whatever Christian said, "Yeah, it is hard to find good help these days." He fills his glass up and puts out his smoke, "You said you were in the import/export business, right?"
Lorrix walks in slowly. She looks like she just woke up recently, not nessessarily haggard or messy just tired looking. She briefly considers checking in her weapons at the door, but she shakes it off... She doesn't technicly have a blaster. She glances around the cantina and begins moving toward the bar.
Christian looking up to the familiar face, A grin forms "Lorrix, Long time no see buddy. Would you care to join us, I have something to discuss with you pertaining to the kindness you've shown me" looking back to marcus "Yea thats correct"
Marcus looks behind him as the door opens and someone else walks in. He looks back to Christian, "I was just wondering if you know anyone around that buys weapons." He takes a sip of his drink, "But don't let me interupt your business with the lady."
Lorrix nods her head slowly and drops herself onto the stool beside Christian and smiles fainlt at the man as she says, "Hey..." She turns and waves the bartender over and starts the morning off right. "Whiskey..." she says the the bartender. Something Marcus said catches her attention and she glances over at the man. "Weapons?" she asks. It must be really early for her, seems she can't form sentences using more than one word.
"That depends on what kind of weapons your looking to get rid of" Taking a sip from his water "However I may be able to arrange something" As Lorrix arrives to us. Christian whispers in her ear "this gentleman has some goods he's looking to off load, I think it maybe something you could be interested in... I'll finish my buisness with you afterwords" Then outloud again say's " So i guess you tWo have something to discuss, I'll just sit here for a minute... Bye the way Lorrix this is" realizing he never caught the mans name says "What was your name again?"
Marcus smiles softly, "Marcus, Marcus Falco." He finishes off his third glass of whiskey, "Just some left over weapons from a shipment. The order got screwed up, the buyers would not take them, we already paid for them and the seller would not take them back. So we got stuck with them."
The bartender drops the shotglass of whiskey infromt of Lorrix and she downs the contents in one sip. Seeming a bit rejuvinated by the introduction of liquor into her system she seems to wake up a bit. She gives Marcus the lookover with her eyes and asks scepticly, "Shipment? This isn't the merchant's guild, Marco..." She smiles and asks, "What do you have and is it legally obtained?"
Marcus smirks lightly, "I don't work for the merchant's guild anyway. Nothing but a punch of.." He cuts off his words by clearing his throat. But you can tell he has no love for the merchant's guild, "Yes, it is legally obtained, and all brand new. We have 4 BlasTech LC-4 Blaster Pistol's, 2 MerrSonn "Hold-Out" Blaster's and 1 MerrSonn A7 Stun Gun. All they are doing is sitting in the crate collecting dust and taking up valuable cargo space."
Christian listening to the coversation taking place is as always, staying out of the dealings.
Marcus hmmms softly as he thinks back to what everyone was discussing the other night, "How does 1650 for the LC-4's, 1320 for the Hold-Out's and 990 for the A7 sound? That is each of course."
Lorrix frowns slightly and glances toward Christian and asks, "How much did I sell you that LC-4 for? Seven hundred credits? Caleb's was nine hundred... Damn, I'm cutting my own throat.." She looks back toward Marcus and says, Your prices are awefully high, but I can understand why. With the lay-offs over at the weapons plant in the city, weapons tend to be hard to get... How about I take all of them off your hands for eight thousand?"
Christian nods agreeingly "Thats what it was"
Marcus fills up his glass and sips on it as he works out the total price in his mind, "Not to mention the fact they are still sitting in the crate, never been opened or used. How about 8230? A 2000 credit discount for taking the lot of them." Marcus wouldn't usually bargain when it comes to something like this, he wouldn't want to raise too many questions. But business is business, and it wouldn't be hard to get the right documents. After all, they are merchants when they are not doing raids. And they never actually stole the weapons, just found them on a crashed ship that they claimed legally.
Lorrix nods her head slowly and says, "I thin that I should be able to afford the extra two hundred and thirty credits..." She smiles and says, "Sure... I'll take them off of your hands." She glances around and takes note of the banking terminal and says softly, "I will need to get more money..."
Marcus blinks and sighs heavily as he remembers something, "Ohh, wait. Ya think you can afford an extra 3300 credits on top of that? For a total of 11530 credits. I forgot, there was 6 LC-4's, not 4." He smiles softly, "Sorry about that, not completely with it this morning."
Lorrix narrows her eyes and asks, "Two more... You're going to leave me without money to pay for my drinking habit!" She pauses and asks, "How about Eleven thousand even?"
Marcus ponders it over for a few moments and nods, "Alright, its a deal. If the captain don't like it then he can just kiss my..ahem. Well, you get the picture." He grins softly.
Lorrix nods her head and asks softly, "I assume that you have the weapons secured in a warehouse around here somewhere? You don't seem to be carrying that much hardware on you..." She laughs softly and holds her comment.
A chuckle emerges from the stool near
Marcus pats at his vest and clicks his fingers, "Damn, i must of left them in my other vest." He chuckles softly, "THey are on our ship. If you have a transport you can pick them up now, or i can have them transferred to a warehouse. Up to you."
Lorrix shakes her head and says, "I'll buy a couple of large bags on the way there... It's only nine pistols, I should be able to handle that if I can get a little help from my good friend, Christian." She pauses for a moment and asks, "What is the name of the ship?"
Christian says "That will be fine id be glad to assist you" Looking up and down marcus, Wondering if there are to be more people at the ship waiting.
Marcus smiles and nods, "Sounds good to me. The ship is the Dragon's Lair. This will free up some space, thats for sure." He pours himself another drink, "And i'll know where to come in the future if we get stuck with any more weapons."
Lorrix nods her head slowly and says, "Sure that is always a good thing... Are there any particular weapons that you were looking for to fill that screwed up order? I have acess to some blaster rifles and bowcasters.... Also, I'd be interested in buying any explosives or grenades that you happen to come across..." She rises and moves to the banking terminal.
Lorrix withdraws some credits.
Lorrix soon returns after stuffing the wad of credits into one of her pockets.
Marcus waits for Lorrix to return before he shakes his head lightly, "Nah, they got everything they wanted. The company just supplied too many of a few things. However, i might be interested in one of those Bowcasters. I will let you know. How much are they going for?"
"Shall we go now?" Looking in Marcus's direction "Is your ship in the spaceport of this planet or somewhere near?" Waiting for Lorrix to situate herself with the credits he relizes that this is going to be uncomfortable for him when they get to the ship.. He then puts it to the back of his mind.
Lorrix considers Marcus' question for a moment as she tries to recall the value of the weapon. "Three Thousand is the selling price of the Bowcasters... It's a pricey toy, but well worth it if you like watching your target become really pasty. It's what I call 'elegant technology'." She looks to Christian and nods her head as she says, "Yes... I'm ready."
Marcus puts the top back on the bottle and picks it up off the bar. After all, he did pay for the whole bottle. He ain't gonna leave it here after he has paid for it. He stands up and nods, "Sure, lets go." He nods lightly to the price, "I'll let my friend know and get back to you."
Lorrix slips a few credits under her empty shot glass and heads out with everyone else. She nods her head slowly at Marcus' words and says, "Sure... Let's just hope that he gets back to me if he wants one before I run out..."
Christian standing he tries to walk as calmly as he can, Trying not to let anyone see his nervousness "alright, lets go" Trying to walk side by side with Lorrix.
Christian leaves Smuggler's Cantina -- Coronet Corellia and enters Meteor Way -- Coronet Corellia.

MAIN LANDING PAD - CORONET SPACEPORT - CORONET - CORELLIA
Marcus leads the way to where the Lair is parked. The crate of weapons is sitting at the bottom of the boarding ramp, considering he called ahead while we were walking out here. He taps the top of the crate, "Here she is."
Lorrix stopped at a small shop on the way and quickly purchased a couple of dufflebags. She wanders in, perhaps a little behind Marcus, unless he hung around whil she was in the shop. She moves up to the crate and looks it over carefully. She then asks Marcus, "Do you have a pry bar?"
Christian following marcus over to the ship, Christian leans to the side looking up the ramp to see if anyone else is present, Within sight, Looks back to see what marcus's response will be.
Marcus holds up his left hand and wiggles his index finger. "I sure do." He says with a grin before hitting the button to open up the crate.
Lorrix grins and peers into the crate. She reaches her hands into the crate and begins to search for the product that has been offered.
All nine weapons are in the crate, neatly packed. Just as Marcus said, they are brand new. There isn't even any clips loaded into, just the way they are sold from the factories. Marcus smiles, "Happy with them?"
Christian letting Lorrix watch Marcus and the crate of weapons, Glances around the room nervously to make sure no one approaches.
Lorrix grins as she uncovers the weapons at the bottom of the crate and says, "Ah... Yes. They look fine." She picks up one weapon at random and begins to examine it closely, checking to see that it is a working weapon and not a mock-up designed to make a quick profit.
Marcus smiles at Lorrix examines the weapons, "I assure you, there are 100% real. We are business men, one bad deal and our reputation sufferes greatly."
It's not that Lorrix doesn't trust Marcus, it's that eleven thousand credits is quite a bit of money and you can be sure that if there is some way that she can knock a bit of the pricetag off, she'll find it. She continues to examine all of the weapons, scrutinizing each one... but finding that they are all indead new and in better shape then the ones that she steals from the Republic army or anyone else for that matter...
Marcus leans against one of the boarding ramps support beams, "I trust you you are totally satisfied with them?" He glances at his chrono after he speaks, he didn't realize it had gotten so late. Time flies when you are conducting business.
Lorrix nods her head and says, "Yeah... I'm happy with them." She reaches into her pocket and pulls out a wad of credits and passes it to Marcus, "That's eleven thousand, you can count it if you wish..." She then begins to place the weapons into the bags and readies them for travel.
Marcus takes the credits and slides them into his outside vest pocket, "Its fine, i trust you." He smiles lightly, "Besides, i have a few contacts that can track you down if need be."
Lorrix places four of the weapons into one of the bag and offers it to Christian. She says, "Not as heavy as I would have thought, but I wouldn't want to get stuck carrying all of them." She looks back toward Marcus and says, "A pleasure doing business with you..." She lifts up her bag and shoulders it.
Marcus smiles and extends his hand to Lorrix, "That it was. I hope we can do some more business in the future. I assume i can ask around for you in the cantina?" 11000 credits for little work, that was more than they thought they would get.
Lorrix shakes her head slowly and says, "Oh, no... I'm rarely ever here, actually. The local police don't like me because they say that I'm a firefight waiting to happen." She grins wickedly and says, ""I'm surprised I haven't had one yet..."
Marcus grins and gestures to the bags, "At least you have enough weapons to get you out of trouble if you do get into one. So where should i look for you? If you don't mind telling me that is."
Lorrix shakes her head slightly and says, "I don't think that not having weapons was the issue at hand in either case... During the second incident, the man, who claimed to be a sith lord, just seemed so much quicker than I was... and that is what surprised me." She rubs her shoulder and says, "I'll kill him next time..."
Marcus hmmms and takes that information in. It could be useful for future reference, especially if they go through with raiding the Sith like planned, "At least you survived the encounter, that is the main thing."
Lorrix nods her head slowly and says, "Yes... It is a good thing that I survived, though I guess that the other person is lucky that he was quicker than I was. Had I managed to hit him it would have been a very bad day for him. Not many people are able to live after they recieve a shot in the head from a blaster rifle at point blank range... but like I said... He won't be so lucky next time."
Marcus smiles softly and nods, "I wish you the best of luck." Then you hear a series of roars from in the ship and Marcus chuckles softly, "Sounds like he is having some trouble. I had better go help the furball out."
Christian a little more relaxed that the transaction has taken place, Returns back to join the conversation after looking around the spaceport for a bit. "So, was everything up to expectations"
Lorrix nods her head in response to Marcus and says, "Certainly, you go help the furball... It sounds like he needs it." She looks back to Christian and says, "Yes... It's all top-rate product... I should be able to sell them and make some profit... As long as I don't give everyone deals like I have been giving you and Caleb." She winks playfully.
Marcus smiles and nods to you both, "It has been a pleasure. I will see you around." He looks at Christian, "I'll keep you in mind for that job as well." With that he starts to make his way up the ramp to see what the Wookiee is complaining about this time.
Christian winking back says "I'll repay you for that" sighing "All in good time" Glad that everything went well, "Furball, did i miss something?" Enviously looking back at the ships in the hangers.
Lorrix shrugs her shoulders slightly and says, "He probably has a hair-covered ship-mate..." She smiles and begins to walk away from the ship, "As for repaying me, I understand... You need to save for a ship, just like I do. Hopefully I can make a good profit on these weapons..."
Marcus disappears into the ship and more roars and metal clanging can be heard.
