    -----------------------------------------
    Republic Way
Republic Way stretches across the government section of this sector,
running east to west. The thoroughfare is wide enough to accommodate 3
lanes of hover-vehicle traffic in each way along the actual roadway, with
wide sidewalks along either side for foot traffic. The street is lined
with cyan-tinted streetlights and security cameras cover every inch of
the road. Expensive shops line the south side of the roadway, catering
to the wealthier beings that frequent this sector.
To the north is entrance to the massive complex that is the home and
training center of the mystical warriors known as Jedi. The massive gates
stand wide open without a guard in sight. But it's the vast bridge beyond
the gate that is the daunting first step to reach the complex on the other
    side of the vast chasm.

    Ashton
A powerfully built man whose eyes and smile coincide with his young and
athletic-looking physique. Averaging these two factors, a guess that the
human male is somewhere in his late teens or early twenties is close to
accurate. His light brown, almost sandy-brown hair is just longer than
collar-length with a slight wave at the bottom as if it's starting to curl.
He has light hazel eyes, more green than brown, but this changes with his
mood or outlook. His short goatee is light brown with tinges of red in it.
He is rather average in height; no more than five foot ten inches tall.
Ashton is wearing a light blue tunic over a soft white, high-collared
shirt. The loose sleeve tunic is belted at the waist with a black utility
belt. His black pants are tucked into a pair of knee-high boots, made of
soft black nerf leather. Clipped to his utility belt is a smooth, silver
    cylinder.

    Simon
Simon is a fairly plainly dressed human, with slightly dirty clothes
that were fashionable a year ago. His eyes dart constantly around the room,
while muscular hands fidget constantly. A small scar on the side of his nose,
and another near his hairline suggest that life has not been easy for him.

    Tai Jinn
A young man of about 18 human years old stands here. That much is evident
as you gaze upon this being. Nothing seems to stand out exceptionally about
him, just a normal everyday Joe, with nothing fantastic to his looks. A dark
blond... almost a reddish blond mop of hair is present on the top of his head.
It looks slightly unkempt, but fortunately it is cut short so it doesn't look
horribly sloppy. Maybe 1/2 an inch in length, the only way you can tell it's
unkempt is the slightly poofy look it presents as if it was just washed and
then life moved on. A pair of matching eyebrows is also present. Perhaps if
you looked hard enough, you'd notice that the right one seems a bit longer
than the left, but it's not -horribly- obvious. A pair of hazel eyes are
present under the eyebrows, twinkling slightly with either excitement, or
perhaps a little secret. For the most part they look to be joyous, however a
possibility of pain is always there, just hidden further underneath. A small
mouth with palish lips seem to curl into a natural smile, adding depth to
the cheeks and permanent dimples found there.
He is clothed in the standard brownish robes of a Jedi, a black sash/belt
wrapped around his mid-section and black boots upon his feet. His walk is easy
with a natural grace to it, as are most of his motions.

Quirking an eyebrow slightly, Tai smiles a bit at the compliment. "I've been
raised a bit differently than other children... it's helped my development
progress to what it is..." his voice trails off as he suddenly turns and
glances Ashton on the street. Sithspawn, busted.

Simon follows Tai's gaze over to Ashton. Then he glances back at Tai, and then
notices the metal cylinders that they both carry. He swallows reflexively, and
inches back away from them very gently.

    Kastanje enters from Republic Way.
    Rohan enters from Republic Way.

Ashton emerges from the entrance to the Jedi Temple complex, walking along with
another human male - about twice his age. Both appear to be Jedi by all outward
appearances. The older man nods to something Ashton says and then heads back
inside the temple. Ashton does take note of Tai and smiles, raising a hand in
greeting. He leaves the hand up, palm out, letting the young man know he was
fine where he was. Remaining near the gates, Ashton gives a glance up and down
the street, apparently waiting for someone, or something.

Glancing back from Ashton to Simon, Tai nods slightly towards the man. "There's
no need for concern... he's just checking on me I believe... They tend to frown
on my actions of wandering the streets more often than not..." Apparently this
is said in response to Simon's sudden nervousness.

    Rohan
A human stands before you of medium height and medium build. He has short brown
    hair and brown eyes also.

    Kastanje
Your glance singles out this young woman, despite her somewhat short stature.
She's on the slighter side of average for a human, no more than 5'4", and doesn't
seem to bother compensating with flashy clothing. Narrow, Sea smoke-blue eyes are
set symmetrically into an aristocratic face of smooth, sandalwood skin. But
despite an appearance that could easily turn haughty, the eyebrows on this young
woman are almost always arched with mirth, her eyes pulling up into laughing
crescents. The faint hints of laugh wrinkles branch from the corners of her eyes,
but they're too shallow to put her in more than her late twenties.
Her slightly frizzy fox-brown hair is pulled back into a long, practical
fishbone braid. A few wisps manage to poke rebelliously out of the neatly kept
style, keeping it from seeming too severe. Almost a microcosm of the impression
    she's appears to be cultivating.
This young woman's wiry frame is clothed in an expensive, though thoroughly
useable, silky tan blouse and matching olive pants. A slightly bulky vest of many
pockets rests on her bony shoulders, its muted green color looks like it may be
due more to wear than design. A smooth gray stone pendant inscribed with some
illegible symbol hangs from a cord around her neck.

Simon turns to Tai with a smile, nodding gently, and trying to look reassured. He
closes his eyes for a moment, then shrugs, and turns more confidently to wait for
    Ashton to approach.

Kastanje strolls down the street with the casual air of someone out for more of
a walk than much else. Her hair seems to be a bit more frizzled than usual, for
those that might recognize her, and she seems a bit tired. Her eyes scan the
street, just taking in the sights at first.

The Jedi Knight doesn't seem to be watching Tai really. It is apparent he is a
Jedi Knight judging from his more colorful attire. No earth tones for this Jedi.
No braid behind the right ear either. And his hair is worn loosely. He senses the
apprehension coming from Simon, but doesn't pursue it. But after a few moments, he
does start to approach the pair of men, taking note of Kastanje's appearance as
    she begins to get closer.

Tai glances about as a familiar presence crosses into his line of sight, looking
at Kastanje, the man smiles slightly before returning his attention to Simon.
"So... if you truly need assistance finding your friend... just feel free to ask
and I'll be willing to assist."

Simon smiles a broad, false smile. "I'll be sure to do that," he says, adding
mentally, "When I feel like dying." Smiling again, and visibly nervous, he
continues, "Well, you guys look like you have some catching up to do - don't let
    me get in the way."

Hearing a familiar voice, Kastanje pauses, picking out Tai, another Jedi, and a
slightly nervous looking man. She smiles slightly and stops, glancing over her
shoulder to check where Rohan went to.

Ashton hears Simon's comment as he approaches and lifts a hand reassuringly to
him. "Sorry, don't let me interrupt. I'm just waiting for someone to arrive."
Even as he speaks, a strange calming sensation can be felt. It's not overpowering,
but it might reduce the amount of tension he feels coming from Simon. "Tai," he
says, looking at him alone, "Be sure you stop in to see Tirol'dyn before you go
to sleep tonight. He had some books he wanted you to look over..." With that, he
nods amiably to Simon, and then steps back, as if to retreat from the area.

Simon looks in confusion between the junior and senior Jedi. He turns to Ashton
more calmly and says, "Err, no, thank you - the young man here was helping me
find my way - I'm new to Coruscant." He shrugs helplessly, "I'm sure you've got
far better things to do than amuse tourists."

Kastanje raises her eyebrow slightly at the two unfamiliar men, and quickly casts
about for Rohan. "Fresh air finally clearing away that cantina smoke?" she asks
    with a smile.

Rohan smiles and nods, "Yes, I can breath a lot easier out here." He also looks
to the two unknown men; he doesn't give them a second thought and looks back to
Kastanje, "Feels good to stretch my legs too."

Ashton nods to Simon, "Well then, have a good night, sir..." He grins slightly
as he turns about and follows Tai back into the Temple. He'd grown unaccustomed
to being seen as a Jedi for a long time. He had to remember to change into his
street clothes before wandering around next time. As the moves away from Simon,
he passes nearby to Rohan and Kastanje, offering a nod to them and some of the
    other beings nearby as well.

Simon nods as he watches Ashton walk away, and then breathes a slight sigh of
relief. He turns around and scans the crowd for a few moments, then notices
that two people are talking, and glancing in his direction occasionally. He
walks slowly in their direction, stopping at a polite distance.

"I think I need to find you a good bar on Coruscant," Kastanje comments to
Rohan, turning away from the man a moment to return Ashton's nod as the Jedi
passes by. "Space travel just isn't my favorite thing." She half-catches
Simon's approach, and lets her words trail off.

Rohan smiles and nods before returning his attention to the Jedi, or soon to
be. He returns the nod from Ashton and looks to Simon as he approaches.

Simon, observing that Kastanje and Rohan are looking at him, gives a friendly
wave. "Did I hear you say something about finding a good bar? I could certainly
use one myself." He extends a hand in greeting. "Simon Farranger. Pleased to
    meet you."

Kastanje broadens her smile welcomingly at Simon's friendly wave. "We're still
working on that, I'm afraid. Simon, you said your name was? I'm Kastanje," she
offers. "I hope your earlier conversation didn't start this sudden wish for a
    drink?"

Rohan takes Simon's hand and gives it a shake before letting it go, "Rohan,
pleased to meet you Simon." and smiles a bit at Kastanje's remark considering
the fact he has been drinking a bit tonight...much like any other night.

Simon shrugs gently to Kastanje. "I don't know about everybody else, but I find
people who can cut me in half in an instant a little unnerving." He smiles,
"Although the people who seem to give me the most headaches are the ones who
    can't."

Kastanje catches Rohan's smile and chuckles softly herself. "Cutting you in half,
eh? Never really considered that aspect of them," she admits, trying to tuck some
of her stray hairs back into the braid. "Well, I don't think I can cut you in a
half in an instant, so where does this leave me?" She flashes a quick smile at
Simon, "I usually prefer not to be a headache."

Rohan thinks for a moment, "Although they very well can cut you in half in an
instant, I seriously doubt they would...just calm down and little to whatever
they're trying to tell you, I bet you would be better off."

Simon shrugs gently to Kastanje with a smile. "Well, there are a lot of reasonably
safe people who don't give me headaches." He grins at Rohan, "I should probably
learn to listen more and say less, and I think I would get into less trouble that
    way."

Kastanje thinks a moment on that, her eyes narrowing slightly. "That could work.
Or it just might get you in trouble by making them *claim* you're not paying
attention since you're not responding..." She shakes her head, trying to clear
it of the leaps of logic that are starting to fill it. "So, I heard you mention
something about a tourist?" She tries, quickly changing the subject.

After hearing Kastanje's response, Rohan also tries another subject. "You are a
    tourist?"

Simon nods with a grin. "Yeah, I'm here to take in the sights and find out what
this planet is like." He shrugs, "Out in the fringe worlds, you don't get to see
anything remotely like this - even Corellia pales in comparison."

Kastanje glances skyward briefly. "Corellia isn't nearly so... Vertical," she
agrees with a chuckle, turning her eyes back to the two men before she gets
    dizzy from the towering buildings.

Rohan nods, "Everything is just too big and tall here, most of the building's
    tops can't be seen."

Simon smiles in agreement. "It's amazing. Sometimes I wonder if you could ever
find your way out if you got lost in this place."

Kastanje shakes her head, "I sure couldn't. I'm positive there are parts to this
city where you can't see the sky, and I'm not so good with directions when I can't
    see the sky..."

Rohan nods, "I try not to stray too far, for I may not be able to find my way
back...that would be a terrible situation, especially in certain places of town."

Simon grins to the others, "Well, I'm going to lose track of my tour guide if I
don't catch up with him soon, so have fun without me." He waves, and heads off
    down the street.
