Kipler
Kipler is a young man who does not look to be sith-born. In fact, he looks human. He wears the standard Sith military attire of a Hastati pilot. The confident grin on his face suggests that he knows something that you don't (whatever that is). His confidence in himself is the only thing that stands out. You think to yourself "what is it about this guy?" Who knows, but you think he might ascend in rank with this quiet confidence, or remain this rank forever if it backfires on him.
Achlan
From a distance, Achlan looks like a short human male. At 5'7", his thin frame makes it clear that he is lightweight. His slightly awkward limbs are normally held still, but occasionally move in the uncoordinated way of a young man who is not used to his body. His black cloak hangs loosely around him - he is almost swallowed by it.

Close up, it is clear he is not a normal being. The green scales covering his right hand contast vividly against the pink flesh of his left hand. The right hand side of his face is an image straight out of advertising, with its finely scuplted features. The blue skin on the left hand side of his face hangs unevenly, as if attached by a craftsman in a hurry - and that is likely the case, as it is held in place by metal staples.
Kipler walks into the spaceport on Cinnagar seemingly not caring that the caravan of Siths accompanying him in the distance keep a close eye on his every move as if to suggest that he is completely used to it.

Achlan approaches from the direction of the Midnight Inn, grateful to be back in Sith space and out of that awful suit. He ignores the slaves who bow deeply as he passes, and spots Kipler in the distance. Interesting, that one looks arrogant. He changes direction slightly to put himself on a collision course with the man.

Kipler looks up and seems a distance figure who is shorter than he is, but one who appears to be wearing the cloth of an Initiate...he thinks to himself "this man is important." A split second after he looks up he immediately stops, kneels down on one knee and says loudly enough for the higher-ranking official to hear him, "I live to serve."

Achlan sweeps over to where Kipler is standing, doing his best version of 'imposing sith lord'. Then he stands in front of Kipler and looks down at him, a satisfying thing to do when non-slaves have been talking directly to you all day. for the moment, he says nothing, savoring the thoughts that must be running through the man's mind.

Kipler remains looking down and does not raise his head but thinks "what a chump" to himself.
Achlan looks down at Kipler and smiles a nasty smile. "I beg your pardon, Hastati?" he asks, "What did you just think?"

Kipler remains still and answers slowly "I...was thinking about how pathetic I am in such a majestic presence as yours, m'lord."

Achlan walks up to Kipler and extends his hand, putting a finger underneath the man's chin. Applying a gentle upward pressure, he says, "Such a pretty lie, Hastati, but a lie nonetheless. You will tell me the truth now."

Kipler feels his head raised by Achlan's finger so that he is looking up into Achlan's eyes. Kipler then feels compelled to tell the truth "I was thinking that you were a chump, but I can clearly see that I am mistake.....perhaps deadly mistaken."
Achlan looks down at Kipler, smiling evilly. Holding eye-contact with the man, he asks, "So, Hastati, you are learning wisdom. Perhaps you would like to explain why you though I was a... chump?" Having asked that question, he reaches out with the force to block the man's throat and prevent him from answering, but his grip fails - why? Why is he constantly deserted like this?

Kipler feels a slight tingle, a tug on his throat that is certainly the will of the Sith force. However, the tingle subsides on his neck after but a moment. Kipler grabs his throat, afraid that the force will overwhelm him, but after a few seconds...nothing. He feels as if he has just been granted a new lease on life by Achlan.
Achlan stares down at Kipler, and tastes the man's fear. Closing his eyes, he allows himself to swim in it for a few moments. He is dimly aware of gratitude, but the fear is too luxurious. As it passes through him, he sees a giant reaching down with strong hands, and feels a sense of pain. Then he is being rougly loaded onto a ship, kicking and screaming helplessly, for he is a young boy. "Ahhh," he says, speaking while the vision floods his mind, "You are not Sith, you were brought here."
Kipler looks down as if struck by some unseen emotional force, he falls forward, hands & feet on the ground and immediately breaks out in a profuse sweat and groans loudly "n..n.noo!..nn..noO!" He then holds his head as if trying to release age-old demons from his mind. "I AM sith."....then he falls flat onto the ground, face down. He tries weakly, but to no avail to pick himself up...

Ahhh, Achlan hasn't had the chance to torture someone like this in a long time, the fear is intoxicating - and it isn't even his own fear! "Yes," he whispers, kneeling down beside the collapsed man's face to whisper directly into his ear. "You dream of your parents - of that other place, you want to be rescued, you want to own yourself." Having spoken, he closes his eyes again to reconnect to the vision if he can, work out where that other place might be.
Kipler groans "I.-am....sith." Kipler down on the ground, rolling around slowly in an emotional trauma. No physical weapons having harmed him, Kipler is at the very will of the Sith force.

The vision returns and shifts - never before have the visions obeyed Achlan so completely. As the terrible wonder of it all sweeps across him, Achlan provides a narration. "The cities, the buildings the ships are everywhere! The richness of this world, a place where you would own yourself, is that what you wish for?"
Kipler feels the Sith Force soaking into his mind and very matter, waving across his body, providing a hot/cold sensation and bringing before him mental pictures that seem so real though his eyes are closed. Kipler feels the past flow throughout his body and into Achlan's mind - the force a recorder and relay of his thoughts pouring into Achlan "My parents love me? Where will I end up? Who are these strange people? Where are they taking me?" Then Kipler's memories of being trained as a sith flow from his mind to Aclan's in Kipler's own voice "I must crush those who harbor ill-will against the sith. I am Sith!" Kipler then rolls over onto his back and murmurs "I-am-am-not-am-sith...I AM SITH!" before he passes out.
Achlan is completely unaware of Kipler's belief that his mind is being read as he focuses on his vision. Not a vision from Kipler's mind, but coming straight from the past itself. But instead of reaching across time using Kipler as an anchor, his focus changes and he reaches across space. The world with the cities and the ships is essentially the same, and his vision flies through the air, looking at the ground while he changes perspective and viewpoint. Once he has gained enough altitude, he realises that only one world is completely covered by a city - Coruscant. Then Kipler falls unconscious and the flow of fear stops - this disruption rocks through Achlan, distorting the image as he desperately tries to hold onto it.
Kipler lies still on the floor collapsed at the Cinnagar Spaceport.

Achlan looks down at the collapsed man. How interesting, he can have visions fed by someone else's fear - and stronger, more powerful ones, too. Such a shame the man fell unconscious and ended it all. Turning, he walks to his ship - it wouldn't do to have some Thethu ask questions about his treatment of the slave, now that the issue of rudeness was resolved.

After some time, Kipler wakes up, exhibiting slow movements at first, but then getting to his knees and holding onto his head "w-w-what happened to me?...where am I?" Kipler slowly gets up and looks around, gaining his focus at first. He sees his ship off in the distance, and nearby is his sith caravan, pointing fingers at him and laughing. Kipler notices them and commands angrily "too the ship, we must get back to the ship! NOW!" He commands. For now, kipler must live with what he doesn't know, and do what he knows he must, return to his base.
